Ellie is now 6 weeks old. We've really been enjoying introducing her to our Chinese friends and students. Yesterday we were expecting one of our students to come visit. She said she would bring some other students with her. I asked her how many and she said she didn't know. So I prepared snacks for 5-6 students. To our surprise, the whole class showed up! They all loved meeting her. They said, "She is so popular, like a super star!"
Here she is at our favorite Chinese restaurant. The waitresses wear costumes from the Qing Dynasty. The restaurant is located on the palace of a Qing Dynasty prince.
